벼 깨씨무늬병 발생의 환경요인 분석

Environmental Factor Analysis of Helminthosporium-Leaf-Spot-Disease Occurrence in Rice

In the late growth stage of rice plant, thegrowth declines even though they grow wel in early growthstage. This phenomenon is called autumn declining and itoften accompanies the infection ofHelminthosporiumleafspot disease. This tudy was caried out o identify the relatedenvironmental factors and to establish the integrated controlsystem ofHelminthosporiumLeaf Spot Disease in rice.Helminthosporiumleaf spot was 470 ha in 2000 and 1,004 ha in 2001, whichoccupied about 1% of the total pady area in Gyeongbukprovince, Korea. The ill-drained sandy pady occupied 50%of the total area of infected pady fields and followed bysandy paddy (28%). Comparing the content of soil elementsbetween infected and normal pady, it was clarified thatthe organic mater content of normal was higher than that ofas Mn, Fe, Zn and available SiO2 were also higher in normalpaddy. The results of comparing the inorganic elementsbetween infected and normal rice plants also showed thesame results. The contents of inorganic elements uch asMgO, SiO2, Fe, Mn were higher in normal rice plants.Especially highly significant difference of SiO2 content onboth soil and rice plants was noticeable.
