필로티구조 건축물 차량화재 시 화재확대 방지를 위한 질식소화덮개 활용 효과성 검토

Effectiveness of Fire Blankets in Preventing Fire Expansion during Vehicle Fires at Pilotis of Small Buildings

최근 3년간 전체 화재건수와 4층 이하 주거시설의 화재건수는 감소하는 반면 인명피해는 증가하고 있어, 이를 최소화할 수 있는 새로운 전술이 요구된다. 따라서 질식소화덮개를 활용한 초기대처기법에 대하여 소규모 주택 필로티 주차장에서 차량 화재시 화재피난시뮬레이션을 통해 분석한 결과, 화재초기의 질식소화덮개의 사용은 건물 주출입구 등 피난경로상의 연기유입방지에 효과가 있다는 결론을 얻었다. 따라서 소규모 필로티 구조 건축물 화재시 신속한 조치로 인명피해 최소화하기 위한 방안으로 건축물내 질식소화덮개 의무 배치 및 사용법 교육 등을 제도화할 것을 제안한다.

In the past three years, the total number of fire incidents- in small residential buildings having less than four floors has decreased, but fire casualties have been increasing. Hence, new techniques must be developed to minimize such causalities. By analyzing the initial coping methods through fire evacuation simulation in the piloti parking lot of a small building, it was concluded that suffocation a fire in its early stage is effective in preventing smoke inhalation. Therefore, it is proposed hat mandatory placement and use of fire-suffocating devices be institutionalized to minimize casualties in the event of a fire in small-scale piloti-structured buildings.
