우상지 감각저하 및 근력저하를 호소하는 요골신경마비 환자에 대한 봉독약침을 중심으로 한 한방 복합치료 증례보고 1례

A Case Report on Numbness and Weakness of Rt. Upper extremity with Radial Nerve Palsy Treated mainly with Bee Venom treatment with combined treatment of Korean medicine

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Bee Venom treatment with combined treatment of Korean medicine on numbness and weakness of right upper extremity caused by radial nerve palsy in a 46-year-old female patient. Methods Patient was treated with Bee Venom treatment on right 肩髃(LI15), 肩髎(TE14), 臂臑(LI14), 臑會(TE13). Pateint’s symptom was evaluated by Range of motion(ROM), grip strength, Visual analogue scale(VAS), range of numbness. The treatment was executed once everyday from November, 13th of 2019 to November, 15th of 2019. Patient was observed from November, 13th to November, 18th of 2019. Results After three sessions of Bee Venom treatment with combined treatment of Korean medicine, patient’s ROM, grip strength were improved. Conclusions The result suggests that Venom treatment with combined treatment of Korean medicine can be an valuable option in treating numbness and weakness of Rt. upper extremity caused by radial nerve palsy.
