드라마 <사랑의 불시착>은 여러 가지 보편성의 코드를 기반으로 하는 흥행신화를 재현하고 있다. 이는 대중서사에서 매우 중요한 비중을 차지하는 것으로 대중과의 폭넓은 커뮤니케이션을 가능하게 만든다. 그러나 효과적인 스토리텔링 전략은 이것만으로 충족되지 않는다. 오히려 이와 반대되는 차별성 역시 요구된다. 본고는 이 드라마 스토리텔링이 가지는 보편성의 코드에 대해 분석해보고, 차별성 전략으로서 다음의 세 가지를 논의해보고자 한다. 첫째는 남북 분단현실이라는 리얼리티의 반영과 이를 통한 효과이다. 둘째는 극적 구조를 통한 낯설게하기의 전략이다. 셋째는 캐릭터를 통한 고유성의 전략과 서사의미 구축이다. 드라마 <사랑의 불시착>은 보편성의 코드와 함께 이를 보안할 차별성의 전략으로서 다양한기법들을 활용함으로써 성공적인 스토리텔링을 구현하고 있다고 본다. 이를 바탕으로 운명적 사랑 이라는 로맨스를 그려내면서도 인간 성의 회복이라는 보편적 가치에 대한 서사의미를 구축하고 시청자들에게 구체적인 맥락 속에서 메시지를 전달하였다.
The television drama reproduces a box office myth based on various universal codes. The code of universality is the basis that occupies a very important weight in popular narratives and enables wide communication with the public. However, for effective storytelling, a differentiating strategy is also required. This paper discusses the following three strategies as differentiating strategies for this drama storytelling. The first is the reflection of the reality of the division of North and South Korea and the effect through it. The second is the defamiliarization strategy through a dramatic structure. The third is the strategy of uniqueness and the construction of narrative meaning through characters. It seems that the above drama is implementing successful storytelling by using various techniques as a strategy of differentiation to secure it with the code of universality.
