드라마 <보건교사 안은영>은 2020년 넷플릭스를 통해 제작 방영되었다. 드라마는 소설 <보건교사 안은영>을 원작으 로 하고 있다. 드라마는 원작소설의 10개 에피소드 중 6개 에피소드를 선별하고 재배치해서 기본 서사를 구성했다. 하지만 원작소설에서 선별된 6개의 에피소드는 위성사건과 보조서사 구성에 활용되었다. 드라마는 6개의 에피소드가 하나의 틀로 묶일 수 있게끔 핵사건과 중심서사를 새롭게 구성했다. 드라마의 핵사건과 중심서사는 한국의 풍수담의 이야기 요소를 활용하여 인간의 욕망 문제를 주제화시켰다. 그리고 주인공과 적대의 인물(군)은 두 가지 방식으로 욕망을 추구하는 모습을 보여줌으로써 갈등을 구체화하고 있다. 드라마는 위성사건과 보조서사를 통해서 다양한 원혼을 등장시킨다. 원혼들은 사회의 구조적 모순이 유발한 폭력으로 희생된 주체들이며, 이들은 드라마의 전체 주제를 확장시켜서 강화하는 기능을 수행한다. 드라마에 등장한 원혼의 모습과 해원 방식은 한국의 원혼설화와 상사한 모습을 보이고 있다. 드라마는 원혼을 통해서 한국 사회가 지닌 다양한 사회적 모순을 보여주고 있으며, 그 해결에 실마리를 나름 제시하고 있다. 드라마는 현대 이야기 문화를 구성하는 중요한 매개이다. 드라마 <보건교사 안은영>은 한국의 이야기 문화 요소가현대의 영상 콘텐츠 제작에 어떻게 활용되고 있는지를 보여주고 있으며, 나아가 드라마 콘텐츠의 사회적 가치와 기능에대해서 나름의 고민을 제시하고 있다.

The drama’s kernels and central narrative use the narrative elements of Korea’s feng shui discourse to thematicize the issue of human desire. And the main character and the antagonistic character (group) materialize the conflict by showing that they pursue desire in two different ways. The drama introduces various vengeful ghosts through satellites and auxiliary narrative. The vengeful ghosts are victims of violence caused by structural contradictions in society, and they function to expand and reinforce the whole theme of the drama. The appearance of the vengeful ghosts in the drama and the method of ‘solving a grudge’ are similar to the Korean vengeful ghost folktale. The drama shows various social contradictions of Korean society through vengeful ghosts, and it provides a clue to the solution in its own way. The drama is an important medium that constitutes modern story culture. The drama “Health Teacher Ahn Eun yeong” shows how the story elements of Korean oral literature are being used in the production of modern video contents, and furthermore, it presents its own concerns about the social value and function of drama contents.
