외국인 유학생을 위한 K-뷰티 특성화 교육과정 개발 연구

A Study on Development of the K-Beauty Characterization Curriculum for International Student: Focusing on International Student of Degree Course

이 연구는 외국인 유학생을 위한 K-뷰티 특성화 교육과정을 마련하기 위해 광주여대의 Wellness-Beauty 특성화 사업목적에 맞는 실행과제로 진행되었다. 특정 지역 대학이 처한 환경과 상황을 고려하여 외국인 유학생의 취업 역량과 연계하여 한국어교육학과, 미용과학과, 서비스경영학과 세 전공 간의 융복합 교육과정을 개발하였다. 외국인 유학생을 위한맞춤형 교육과정을 개발을 위해 K- 뷰티와 관련된 기존 연구를 고찰하고, 현재 국내 대학의 K-뷰티 관련 교과목 현황을살핀 후 K-뷰티 특성화 교육과정의 필요성을 역설하였다. 또한 학습자의 요구 분석을 통해 교육과정의 목표와 체제를 구체적으로 확립하였으며, 전문가 평가를 통해 교육과정에 포함되어야 하는 교육과정을 언어적 측면, 지식적 측면, 기술적측면, 태도적 측면으로 나누어 교육내용과 교과목을 예시로 제안하였다. 학습자의 요구를 반영하여 마련된 광주여대 K-뷰티 특성화 교육과정의 내용은 향후 정규과정에 편성하여 학습자들의대학생활 만족도를 높이고, 취업 역량을 향상시키면서 질 높은 강의를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 본 연구의 결과는 국제화 및 특성화 사업 수행을 위해 중요한 자원이 될 수 있으며, 나아가 외국인 유학생 유치 확대와 더불어 지역 대학 중심의 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 성과에 기여할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study to prepare a K-beauty specialized curriculum for foreign students as an implementation task suitable for the purpose of Gwangju Women’s University’s wellness beauty specialization project. This study developed a convergence curriculum between Korean language pedagogy, beauty pedagogy, and service management majors in connection with the employment capabilities of foreign students in consideration of the environment and circumstances facing specific local universities. In order to develop a new curriculum, existing studies related to K-beauty were reviewed, and the necessity was emphasized by examining the current status of K-beauty-related subjects. In addition, the goals and systems of the curriculum were specifically established through analysis of learners’ needs, and the curriculum to be included in the curriculum was divided into linguistic, knowledge, technical, and attitude aspects and proposed as examples. The contents of the Gwangju Women’s University K-beauty specialized curriculum, which reflect the needs of learners, can be expected to be organized in future regular courses to increase learners’ satisfaction with college life and improve employment capabilities. The research results of this paper can be an important resource for internationalization and specialization projects, and further contribute to the results of securing competitiveness centered on local universities along with expanding the attraction of foreign students.
