Success Factors and Sustainability of Social Economy: Focused on the Case of Gurye Nature Dream Park

본 연구는 사회적경제와 관련한 국내의 모든 연구를 대상으로 대표적인 성공요인을 도출하고, 구례자연드림파크 사례를 통해 실제 사회적경제 성공요인들이 사업의 운영에 어떠한 역할을 하고 있는지를 분석해보았다. 첫째, 공동체적 기업가정신은 모두가 오너로 기능하게 만들어 사업의 지속가능성을 높여주었다. 둘째, 구례자연드림파크, 조합원, 지역, 주민들은 경쟁이 아닌 협력을 통해 서로 보완해 나감으로써 발전을 가져올 수 있었다. 셋째, 구례군의 적극적인 행정적·재정적 지원은 구례자연드림파크의 자립성, 지속성을 높여주는 역할을 하였다. 넷째, 생산요소의 지역화는 부의 재창출, 재확산을 도출하였다. 구례자연드림파크 사례를 통해 사회적경제는 장기적인 마인드를 기반으로 지역과 함께 운영되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 지자체의 지원으로, 지역 고유의 생산요소·자원을 통해, 지역주민들과 함께, 다같이 사회적경제를 운영해나간다면 지속가능한 운영은 물론 지역경제의 활성화도 가져오게 될 것이다.

This study is to draw representative success factors for all studies related with social economy and analyze how these factors actually affects on project operation through Gurye Nature Dream Park case. First, community entrepreneurship increased the sustainability of the project by making everyone function as an owner. Second, Gurye Nature Dream Park, union members, regions and residents were able to bring developments by complementing each other through cooperation rather than competition. Third, the active administrative and financial support of Gurye-gun enhanced its independence and sustainability of Gurye Nature Dream Park. Fourth, localization of elements of production led to re-creation and re-proliferation of wealth. This case showed that social economy has to be operated with the community based on a long-term mindset. Sustainable operation as well as vitalization of the local economy will be possible if residents operate social economy all together with the support and assistance of local governments through regional indigenous elements of production and resources.
