특수교육보조원이 인식하는 특수교육보조원의 바람직한 역할 탐색

A study on the desirable role of special educational aides from the viewpoint of special educational aides

특수교육보조원이 인식하는 특수교육보조원의 바람직한 역할을 탐색하기 위하여 10명의 특수교육보조원을 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교육보조원이 인식하는 특수교육보조원 역할 수행의 어려운 점은 생활지원 측면에서 장애학생 개인욕구에 맞는 지원 수행의 어려움, 건강보호, 이동과 안전생활 지원 수행의 어려움, 의사소통 지원 수행의 어려움이었다. 교수-학습 지원의 어려운 점은 수업 보조 역할 수행의 어려움, IEP 참여 지원의 어려움, 문제행동 수정 역할 수행의 어려움이었다. 또한 사무행정 및 기타 지원의 어려움이 있다고 하였다. 둘째, 특수교육보조원이 인식하는 특수교육보조원제도 개선 사항은 급여 및 근무조건 개선, 선발 및 배치 개선, 교육 및 연수 개선이었다. 이 연구 결과를 토대로 우리나라와 노르웨이 특수교육보조원 제도의 운영 차이를 기술하고, 우리나라에서 특수교육이 원활하게 이루어지기 위하여 특수교사와 특수교육보조원이 협력할 방안을 제시하였다.

This study was performed to explore the perception of special educational aides on their desirable role. The participants were 10 persons and focus group interview was carried out. The results are followings. First, the difficulties of special education aides in the daily living support were support according to children’s educational needs, health support, mobility and daily care, communication support. The difficulties of special education aides in the teaching-learning support were instructional aid, IEP assistance, support for behaviour problems. Special educational aides also had lots of difficulties on administrative affairs and other support roles. Second, Improvement plan of special education aides system which special education aides perceive were improvement of payment and working condition, improvement of draft and placement of special education aide, in-service training education for special education aide.
