사회복지 전공 대학생의 장애인에 대한 태도

A Study on the Social Welfare Major Students’ Attitude of the Person with Disabilities

이 연구에서는 강원도 및 경기도에 위치한 H대학, K대학, J대학 사회복지학과에 재학 중인 대학생 248명을 대상으로 장애인에 대한 태도에 대해 알아보았다. 조사는 설문지를 통해 이루어졌으며 분석에는 t-test, ANOVA 등의 통계방법이 사용되었다. 사회복지 전공 대학생의 장애인에 대한 태도는 성별, 종교유무, 장애가족 유무, 자원봉사경험 유무에 따라서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 학년에 따라 장애인에 대한 태도 하위영역 중 ‘권위주의적 태도’를 제외한 전 하위영역에서 1학년이 2,3, 4학년보다 긍정적인 태도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 현장실습 경험이 있는 학생들이 현장실습 경험이 없는 학생들보다 장애인에 대한 태도가 더 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사회복지 전공생의 장애인에 대한 태도 형성의 중요성과 향후 교수 프로그램 구성을 위한 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

The study looked at 248 university students in H, K, and J universities in Gangwon and Gyeonggi provinces to learn about their attitudes toward person with disabilities. This study was done through questionnaires and the analysis used statistical methods such as t-test, ANOVA. There was no statistically significant difference in attitudes toward person with disabilities of college students majoring in social welfare, depending on their gender, religion or volunteer experience. However, it has been revealed that in all sub-disciplinary areas, excluding authoritarian attitudes, first graders are more positive than second, third and fourth graders. Students with field experience were also more negative in their attitude toward person with disabilities than those without field experience. Based on the results of the study, we discussed the importance of forming attitudes for person with disabilities in social welfare colleges and ways to construct future teaching programs.
