Art-centered Creative Experience Activity Program in a Special Education School

본 연구는 특수학교 중학교 과정 학생을 대상으로 예술 활동 중심의 창의적 체험활동 프로그램을 구성하고 운영함으로써 나타난 교사와 학생의 변화는 무엇인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 연구 참여에 동의한 학생 8명과 동료교사 4명을 대상으로 면담, 참여관찰, 연구자의 메모, 수업 성찰일지 등 다양한 질적 자료수집 방법을 활용하고, 질적 분석 기법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 본 연구는 예술 활동 중심의 창의적 체험활동 프로그램을 10차시로 구성하여 운영하였다. 예술 활동 중심의 창의적 체험활동 프로그램 실행을 통해 학생들은 자발적으로 수업에 참여하게 되었으며, 자신에 대한 표현 기회가 확대되었고, 타인에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 가지게 되었다. 또한 교사는 창의적 체험활동을 체계적으로 운영할 수 있었고, 자기반성을 통하여 수업을 개선할 수 있었으며, 학생의 입장을 고려하여 학생과 소통하며 창의적 체험활동을 운영할 수 있었다.

The purpose of the study is to understand the changes of teachers and students from planning and carrying out an art-centered creative experience activity program for the middle school level in a special education school. The research participants were eight students and four teachers who agreed to participate in the study. The study used a qual-itative research method that includes collecting and analyzing the collected data from interviews, participant observations, notes of the researchers, and teaching reflection journals. The researchers planned and conducted a 10-session art-centered creative ex-perience activity program. The students who participated in the study were able to au-tonomously attend classes, show increased expressing themselves, and have positive at-titudes on others from participating in the art-centered creative experience program. The teachers ,also, were able to systematically manage the creative experience program, improve their classes through self-reflection, and communicate with the students with better considerations on them.
