간호대학생의 직업존중감 및 영향요인

Factors affecting the Job-esteem among undergraduate nursing students

본 연구는 간호대학생의 직업가치관, 간호전문직 자아개념 및 직업존중감을 확인하고, 직업존중감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 B광역시와 G도에 소재한 4개 대학교의 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호대학생 329명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS Windows 21.0프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 독립표본t검정, 일원배치분산분석, 쉐페 사후검정, 피어슨상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 직업존중감은 5점 만점에 3.88점이었고, 직업존중감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 직업가치관(β=.557), 간호전문직 자아개념(β=.235), 연간봉사활동횟수(β=.135), 봉사교과목을 이수여부(β=.114), 성별(β=-.072)순으로 나타났으며, 직업존중감을 66.3%설명하였다. 결론적으로 직업존중감에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 직업가치관이므로 가장 우선적으로 직업가치관 향상을 위한 다양한 교육전략을 개발하고 봉사교과목, 봉사활동 등을 포함하는 교과외 교육과정을 개발하고 적용할 때 성별 간 차이를 고려해야 할 것이다.

This study was a descriptive research to investigate work value, nursing professional self-concept and job-esteem and to identify the factors affecting the job-esteem among undergraduate nursing students. The participants were 329 undergraduate nursing students. who were recruited from the 2 Department of Nursing in B Metropolitan and 2 Department of Nursing in Gyeongsangnam-do. The structured questionnaire was self-administered from November 29 to December 5, 2018. Data were analyzed through the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program using descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. According to the results of this study, Mean score for job-esteem in nursing student was 3.88 out of 5 point. The factors of work value(β=.557), professional self-concept(β=.235), annual number of volunteers(β=.135) and take a service course(β=.114) were the positive impact and gender(β=-.072) were the negative impact on the job-esteem level of nursing students. The total explanatory power accounted for 66.3%. In conclusion, It is necessary to develop program a work value and nursing professional self-concept, annual number of volunteers, take a service course according to gender use specific strategies to improve job-esteem. In order to enhance the positive job-esteem of nursing students, there is a need to develop educational intervention that improves the work value and professional self-concept. and the need to plan ways to increase participation and provide information and opportunities is to invigorate the function of the volunteering service which is also considered as one of the functions of the university.
