『宣和奉使高麗圖經』 「器皿」條를 중심으로 살펴본 高麗時代의 茶文化

The tea culture of the Goryeo Dynasty, focusing on the SeonhwabongsaGoryodokyung’s ‘Gimyung

고려시대(918-1392)는 왕으로부터 평민들까지 차를 즐겨 마신 차문화의 전성기였다. 고려에 사신으로 왔던 송나라 서긍(徐兢, 1091-1153)이 저술한 『고려도경』에는 고려시대의 역사, 제도, 정치, 경제, 사회, 군사, 풍속, 생활상 등이 잘 나타나 있다. 이와 함게차생활을 살펴볼 수 있는 차도구와 차공간에 대한 기록이 있어서 고려시대의 다양하고 깊이 있는 차문화를 종합적으로 고찰할 수 있다. 『고려도경』 「기명」조에는 36종의 기물이 나오는데 차생활에 사용된 기물로 볼 수 있는 것이 24종이다. 이 가운데 차생활에 직접적으로 사용된 기물이 18종이며 간접적으로 사용된 기물이 6종이다. 고려시대에는 가루차를 끓인 물에 넣거나, 찻사발에 물을 붓고 점차(點茶)를 하여 거품을 일으켜 마시거나, 거친 잎으로 만든 떡차나 잎차를 끓여서 걸러낸 맑은 찻물을 즐겨 마셨다. 또 가정에서는 물론 경치가 아름다운 자연 속에 세운 누각(樓閣)이나 정자(亭子)라는 공간에서 풍류를 즐기며 격조 높은 차생활을 즐겼던 것으로 나타났다.

Among them, 18 objects were used directly in tea life and 6 objects were used indirectly. During the Goryeo Dynasty, powdered tea was put in boiled water, water was poured into a tea bowl, and gradually foamed to drink, or rice cake tea or leaf tea made of rough leaves was boiled and filtered. In addition, it was found that he enjoyed the elegant tea life while enjoying the arts in spaces such as pavilions and pavilions built in nature with beautiful scenery as well as at home.
