항공서비스 전공 교과목의 PBL을 활용한 수업 운영 사례연구

An Application Case of PBL in Dep’t of Airline Service Major Subject

본 연구는 포스트 코로나에 대비하여 항공 및 글로벌 고객서비스 분야로 취업하기를 희망하는 대학생의 전공 교과목에 문제중심학습(PBL)을 적용하여 효율적인 학습 성과를 분석하고자 진행하였다. 연구를 위해 2년제 W대학교 항공서비스 전공자 22명을 대상으로 4주간 각 3시간씩 수업을 진행한 후, 교수자가 작성한 성찰 질문지를 이용하여 학습자들의 성찰 의견 평가와 설문을 통해 만족도를 통해 자료 수집을 하였으며 분석은 질적 분석으로 진행하였다. 연구 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, PBL에서 학습자들은 자발적으로 구성된 팀 활동에서 역할을 분담하고 회의와 토론을 통해 교수자가 제시한 문제에 대해 의견을 조율하며 비교적 자유로운 진행하에서 결과를 도출하였다. 둘째, 각 조원들은 수업에 적극적으로 참여하고 맡은 분야의 자료 조사 및 공유를 통해 수업에서 주도적인 역할을 했던 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수업에서 습득한 정보는 전공 연계 직무는 물론 이종직무에도 활용 가능함을 스스로 인지하는 것으로 나타나 수업의 만족감으로 드러났다. PBL은 학습자 간 의사소？v을 기반으로 제시된 문제를 해결하고 동시에 전공을 넘어 융합형 지식을 스스로 체득하게 하는 학습방법으로 분석되었다. 문제해결 능력과 협업능력이 4차산업 혁명에 적합한 인재 유형으로 제시되는 시기에 융합적 사고방식을 유도하는 PBL의 효율성을 본 연구의 의의로 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Problem-based Learning(PBL) for the college students who wish to be the right person in the airline and global-customer service area upcoming in post CORONA. For this study, 22 students majoring airline service at W university participated in classes three hours per week for 4 weeks. By analysis method, qualitative analysis was conducted to the learners’ reflective opinions assessment prepared by the researcher and satisfaction survey by questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows. First, under the PBL, learners were free to coordinate opinions and proceed freely in team activities. Second, each member participated in the class voluntarily and played a leading role in the class by researching and sharing information in the field assigned to. Third, the students were satisfied with the knowledge acquired in the class that could be used not only for jobs related to their major but also for other field. PBL was analyzed as a learning method solving the problems based on the communications and let the students to acquire convergence-knowledge above the major. The significance of this study is to present the effectiveness of PBL that induces a convergence mindset at a time as the problem-solving ability and collaboration ability are presented as a key factor for the 4th industrial revolution.
