This article aims to look into consciousness of Joseon’s Children s books and, through that, to look for implications for development of current Sino-Korean textbooks. Why our ancestors published Children s books? Children s books in the Joseon dynasty mostly aims at cultivating personal character such as reflection on ‘Human beauty’, ‘Smooth human relation’, etc. as well as at studying Chinese characters. ≪Gyeokmongyogyeol≫ suggests many things to Sino-Korean textbooks in that it abundantly proposes the attitude toward life that will be helpful to current students if they learn it. This article introduced writing materials of ≪Gyeokmongyogyeol≫ which have not been included in the past and mentioned a method for the system and small unit development according to 2015 amended Chinese characters curriculum. The deliberation results of textbooks according to 2015 curriculum will be published in March, 2017 and, if necessary, is to be revised during about two months. Under the deliberation results, revision work of the textbooks will proceed and, at that time, the study results of this article are expected to become a good guide.
