This essay is to discover, introduce and investigate the poem, Muhyangryo dongrangsaga(「無向遼東浪死歌」) made by Wang Bak. He was a peasant rebel leader of Sui Dynasty and made the work against Ryeo-Sui War, the war between Goguryeo and Sui Dynasty happened in Ryodong Penninsula from the late 6th century to the early 7th century. He persuaded Sui people not to be dragged to Ryodong Penninsula as a soldier and die through the poem. In chapter Ⅱ, I tried to explain how the author and creation background of Muhyangryodongrangsaga has been transmitted in Korean and Chinese history since Jachitonggam(『資治通鑑』) was made by Samagwang in North Song period. For the study, I inspected the materials related to Muhyangryodongrangsaga written in a variety of books of all times in Korea and China. In chapter Ⅲ, I established how the actual contents of Muhyangryodongrangsaga had been expressed in books such as Ryusul(『類說』) in South Song period and Susayumun(『隋史遺文』) in the period from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty. Through this study, I analysed the concrete aspect and meaning of the work. In Muhyangryodongrangsaga, the extreme fear of Sui people toward Goguryeo is reflected very well. And political strategy of a peasant rebel leader who was trying to persuade the people to make them his side is expressed clearly. Therefore not only Yuwoojungmun(「遺于仲文」) of Uljimunduk, a Goguryeo general, Giryodongisu(「紀遼東二首」) made by the important governing class of Sui Dynasty and Manjujaga(「挽舟者歌」) by the common people of Sui Dynasty but also Muhyangryodongrangsaga, made by a peasant rebel leader to overthrow the governing system of Sui Dynasty have the worth to be used as a valuable source for the profound analysis.
