Yeon-Hang is a kind of bridge to communicate with world beyond Joseon Dynasty, and we can also check this through the record of animals. Yeon-Hang-Sa regards camel and elephant as a inordinary sightseeing which is in Catholic Church in Beijing, and it makes them learn global perspective in terms of geographic: they could break from medieval geographic perspective. Also, they could see the animal circus with dogs and monkeys in Gwan-So which is their accommodation, and this kind of party was not in Joseon Dynasty at that time. Yeon-Hang-Sa tried to record what they saw during trip: they wrote not only the appearance but also the character, origin, and relative stories of specific animal using many literature. They would like to give the world experience to people who had not experienced in that journey. And we can check that they encountered global-modern recognition getting out medieval geographic recognition which is Chinese center perspective in the article of animals in Catholic Church. In 1720, Lee Ki-Ji admired the scientific character of an illustrated animal-plant book during his journey, and Lee Wi-Bong introduced specific animals of countries through <Jik-Bang-Uae-Gi> in 1760. We need to focus that they tried to spread global-modern geographic perspective breaking from Chinese center perspective through these articles of animals.
