KiNyo Sword-Dance Poems(妓女劒舞詩) of ChoSun focused on a korean traditional sword dance. These poems were written by the SaDaeBu(士大夫) group who saw the sword dance of KyNyo(GiSaeng. Korean Hetaera), especially in the 18th century. Korean Sword literature(刀劒文學) was popular in the 17~18th century of ChoSun; hence, most of KiNyo Sword-Dance Poems were written in the same period. It shows the correlation between Korean Sword literature and Korean Sword-Dance. This paper explains three imageries of Korean KiNyo Sword-Dance Poems - the tragic beauty(悲壯美), the sword-fighting imagery(劒術形狀), and the sexual attractiveness of KyNyo(姿色). These imageries represent very unique peculiarity of KiNyo Sword-Dance Poems and provide a clue about Korean Sword-Dance Studies.
