自我와의 疏通

Communication with the Ego -The two voices to inner side oneself-

  • 2

This paper is compiled for suggesting the desirable method of communication with the Ego to modern people, through analysing aspect of communication with the Ego in the texts of self-warning, self-discipline type and self-admiration type and smiling self-deprecatingly, self-mockery type. Not only did Goryeo Lee Kyu-Bo(李奎報), in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty Sin- Heum(申欽), the late Joseon Dynasty Song Si-Yeol(宋時烈) and Yoon-Ki(尹愭) have representativeness as writers of the day, they wrote more than two works among three varieties of self-warning, self-discipline type and self-admiration type and smiling self-deprecatingly, self-mockery type. The reason why this paper examines these three texts at once, the form and content were clearly divided because of the fundamentally different function, but the outstanding thinker and writers honestly communicated with their inner side, crossing the style of writing standard. Lee Kyu-Bo(李奎報) requested to be careful of one´s speech beyond the theoretical and ideological level in 「Jagyemyeong(自誡銘)」. In 「Self-mockery(自嘲)」 and 「Self-admiration(自贊)」, he sublimated with a laugh and prepared developmental turning point by scathingly and humorously exposing his flaws. He severely criticized the incompetence of him who had a bald head and potbelly, but his perspective on such feature was warm in 「Dudonggago(頭童自嘲)」. On the other hand, in 「丁而安寫予眞 自作贊」, he talked to his existence with a little more contemplative and calm tone, looking at his figure himself. Sin-Heum(申欽) concentrated on telling the psychological aim and desire in 「Self-admiration(自贊)」. It is an ideal that he gave himself who wanted to sing the praises of absolute liberty without not being isolated from the reality and group. Because he wanted to take a stroll on the profound realm in trouble as well as in usual, he could transcend from the corrupt world and ordeal. Also, in 「Hyeonong Self-admiration(玄翁自贊)」, he awakened himself that was true self too, looking at his humbled figure and then he maintained the his real ego. Song Si-Yeol(宋時烈)’s 「Wuzhagyeonggujeong(又自警求訂)」 is the article of pledge that when you speak, be afraid of, be careful in and fulfill sincerity. Also, 「Jagyeongeum Byoungin(自警吟 丙寅)」 is the article of deep remorse that he talked to himself about the discord and enmity which were caused because of stubborn conviction. Because he had been in the center of fierce arguments, such pledge and remorse were not empty words. And in 「Jagyeongeum(自警吟)」, he requested to devote himself even in old age. 「Jagyeongeum Byoungin(自警吟 丙寅)」 and 「Jagyeongeum(自警吟)」 all expressed ‘Self-warning’ but they were more of the ‘Smiling self-deprecatingly’ and ‘Self-mockery’ in substance. Though Yoon-Ki(尹愭) was poor, also his government service and government position were late and rough, he opposed the ordeal by reflecting and encouraging himself. In 「Self-warning(自警)」, he bitterly reflected himself, meanwhile, he sternly took warning. His 「Self-admiration(自贊)」 is self-mocking but it gives off self-preserving and pride. He obtained health in communication with the ego, through honestly expressing the sense of inferiority.
