IT(information technology)의 영향력을 인식한 산업체에서는 IT 분야의 투자를 가속화 하고 있으며, 특히 시대에 맞게 IT 자원을 활용할 수 있는 전문가를 원하고 있다. 이러한 산업체의 요구가 증대함에 따라 직업교육기관에서는 IT 전문인력을 배출해야 하나 그렇지 못한 것이 현실이다. 이러한 원인은 IT 자원이 충분한데도 불구하고 IT를 교육에 적용하는 경험과 IT 교육용 자료가 부족한데 기인하는 것으로 산업체에서 요구하는 IT 전문인력의 양성에 차질을 빚고 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 동기는 직업교육기관에서 교육과정에 IT를 통합하거나 IT 교육자료를 개발기법을 단계적으로 제시해서 IT 전문인력 양성에 기여하는데 있다. 이 연구에서 시도한 지식기반의 IT 자원 활용법은 새로운 IT 직업 교육의 방향으로 직업교육기관과 산업체에서 어렵지 않게 적용할 수 있을 것이다.
According to realizing the power of IT (Information Technology), industry area increase their investments in IT and becomes more demanding in tghe use of domain-specific IT applications by IT professionals. They request that vocation education institutions should have produced IT professionals for solv ing complex problems in specific professional domains. But vocation education institutions are not ready for teaching students how IT can be used to solv e domain specific problems. Because they have a little experience how to intergrate IT into their curriculum and not enough teaching material in spite of the proliferation of desktop computers and rapid advances in software application. So, the motivation of this paper is to provide vocation education with the ways of intergrating IT resources for solving problems in busiiness more efficientlky and effectively through IT. This paper develops a KBS(Knowledge Based Systems) to teach ROI Model using Excel Spreadsheets, and describles how to integrate IT resource into their curriculum to improve a company or to lead a compancy to competitive advantage. The main benefit of this study is to suggest a new model of vocation education using KBS for IT age.
