Open Source Software(OSS)를 활용한 전문 직업 교육 모델에 관한 연구

A Study on the Use of Open Source Software in Professional-Vocational Education Model

시대와 기술의 발전에 따라 직업 시장이 급변하고 있으나 대학은 이러한 변화에 적절히 대응치 못해 직업 교육은 위기에 직면하고 있다. 대학 교육의 질적 향상이 어느 때보다 필요한 시기라 할 수 있다. Open Source Software(OSS)는 전문성 신장 도구로 활용할 수 있어 외국에서 활용도가 높지만 국내 대학에서의 활용도는 부족하다. 이러한 국내 실정을 감안해서 대학 교육의 질적인 향상을 도모할 수 있도록 OSS를 활용한 전문 직업 교육모델을 본 연구에서 제시하였다.

The recent trends of the job market and educational environment are changing rapidly. Vocation education institutions have not followed this trend, but have met the crises of college education in Korea. The quality of vocation education should be increased according to the job market trend. Open Source Soft ware(OSS) is a tool enhancing the professional skills of students required by enterprise. Developed countries such as the USA and Australia have a lot of experience using them in the educational area, but its usage is little in Korea. This study focuses to develop an educational model of using OSS for Professional-Vocational Education. The educational model suggested by the author can be used to raise the quality of higher education in Korea.
