Many studies had work on how Tao, Yan-ming s literary works had delivered to our country. But, We suppose that Tao, Yan-ming s works had been conveyed through monks and envoys in the period of Three States by confirming that Munsun, his works composed of 8 poems, had been read by noble man in Korea period and chosen as textbook in Shilla peiod. When So, Dong-pa s works was popular in mid-Korea Period, So, Dong-pa praised him as the best poet in China and wrote 109 poems as a way to appreciate and answer Tao, Yan-ming s literary works. This affect poets in Koryeo period and moreover, many scholars were moved by Tao, Yan-ming s literary works because civil servant were ignored by military officers. Lee, Kyu-bo tried to follow Tao, Yan-ming s thoughts, verse and poems because he always admired Tao life and personality. Like Tao, Yan-ming s returning to nature , Lee recited poems which pursue homecoming after his resignation from a government office. The similarities in works in Tao and Lee, Kyu-bo are as follows. The first is that they grew up in rural community and farming are is their growth background. Therefore, they became interested in poverty but they live in a small way regardless of riches and honor. The second is that they had a longing for leaving nature as it is in a peaceful world like Muhui s and Galcheon s people. The third showed the love for a chrysanthemum in his poem by comparing a mum which sends forth a sweet fragrance till withering with the symbol of a hermit and a noble scholar. The fourth showed the yearning for returning to nature which gave out pure simplicity in their poetic life. Lee, Kyu-bo ideal world was expressed in Teacher SamHokho and he respected Tao life continuosly. Yet, Lee, Kyu-bo showd the opposite aspect with Tao, Yan-ming in that he had the desire about political power and finally became a high-ranking official because he was expelled by his politcal enemy while Tao consistently tried to pursue a complete hermitage with spontaneous returning to nature.
