Contribution essays on Pavilions written by Chae Soo

This study focused on contribution essays on pavilions of Chae Soo(1449~1515), under the influence of the early Chosun dynasty tradition. For this purpose, I investigated some articles of Seo Geo-jeong(1420~1488), Seong Hyeon(1439~1504) and Kim Jong-jik(1431~1492). I analyzed out some important characteristics of early Chosun dynasty from this work. There are a couple of views about this matter. The one is that pursuing morality from the nature. And the other is that using the nature for the practical use. In this cases, the nature from their article usually mean an abstract concept. Chae Soo s attitude about the nature is different from above authors. He inclined to the Taoism. He never tried to use his essays for the morality or practical purpose. He just tried to get emotional delight. In addition, he regarded the nature as every person s property. So that he described the nature as realistic as possible, and it was so concrete. I hope this study will contribute to the following studies about same kind of articles.
