An enormous influence event of Jeongjae(貞齋) Parkuijung(朴宜中) s life is the change of Yuan(元)ㆍMing(明) in China and Goryeo(高麗)ㆍJoseon(朝鮮) in the country. In his twenties, he passed the state examination during the Joseon Dynasty and started his official career. He hold an additional post of Sungkyunkwan(成均館) Hakgwan(學官) and give a lecture on Sung Confu -cianism(性理學). In his thirties, he selected as a Gongsa(貢士) and apply for an examination in the Ming(明). In his forties, he expostulate with presenting a memorial to the king and was sent into exile once. In his fifties, he was dispatched an envoy to Ming(明) again and made a retraction of an install plan of Cheolryeongwi(鐵嶺衛). After founding of Joseon(朝鮮), he went back to the rural life. A collection of Jeongjae(貞齋) s works were published fine times. An old book of Jeongjae(貞齋) works collection is extant until the 19th century. 『Se -onjojeongjaeseonsaenghaengjeok(先祖貞齋先生行蹟)』 was published in the 1862, 『Jeongjaeseonsaengilgo(貞齋先生逸稿)』in the 1923, 『Jeongjaeseon sa -engmunjip(貞齋先生文集)』in the 1969, 『Gukyeok Jeongjaejip(國譯 貞齋集)』in the 1989, and 『Gukyeok Jeongjaeseonsaengmunjip(國譯 貞齋先生文集)』which included annotation in the 2008. Jeongjae(貞齋) s poetry is constructed with a desire for a life in seclusion, a poetic modification of Sung Confucianism(性理學), daily life s poetization and companionship interchange with poetry s giving and receiving, etc. Jeongjae(貞齋) leaved four proses. Those are Gyeilyeso(戒逸豫疏)’, ‘Gyeju -ssseo(戒酒書)’, ‘Dotongseol(道統說)’ and ‘Daejiguksabimeong(大智國師碑銘)’. Those were created for the various aims, but those expressed his conscience as a Confucian scholar and have a good command of an affected style.
