The works which describes the love for nature are various from works of military period of Goryeo to those of mid-Chosun period which is filled with political fraction and battle, which was caused by scholars who had the opportunity to discover the beauty of nature after escaping from the real world. The bottom line of this study was as follows. Yoon Seon-do s nature poems are divided into 2 parts, one of which deepened and magnified his thoughts about nature by singing elegant tastes and the beauty of nature. His nature poems expressed hermitage from the love for nature because these are influenced by Tao Yan-ming s works. Yoon Seon-do made his nature poems when he was sent into exile rather than he was in governmental service. His works could be compared with Tao s works singing rural community because some of his works showed harmony with nature by interchanging between nature and real world and other poems of his works expressed philosophy about his true character and a sense of unity between the subjective and the objective. Yoon Seon-do also reflected Tao Yan-ming s love for a chrysanthemum in his poem by comparing a mum which sends forth a sweet fragrance till withering with the symbol of a hermit and a noble scholar. Also Yoon Seon- do tried to make the excellent poems that described backgrounds of those days for common people to find Utopia that could escape from political fraction. While Tao Yan-ming tried to compose his poetic thoughts in unlimited imagination, Yoon Seon-do pursued purer life by dreaming Tao s poetic life. Their philosophy for drinking showed similarity in that Yoon Seon-do tried to drink for forgetting solitude from life and disharmony with his society, while Tao Yan-ming tried to drink for escaping from humane conflict and worrying in his political surroundings. Tao regard life as destiny while Yoon Seon-do looked upon life as something enjoyable. Sometimes Yoon Seon-do revealed his desire to take part in real political life while Tao Yan-ming consistently tried to pursue a complete hermitage. In conclusion, Tao Yan-ming tried to describe confucian rural life based on fresh nature in WiJin Period. On the other hans, Tao Yan-ming s literary works showed the real description of in order to give common people some instruction about loyalty and filial piety and patriotism and expressed strong desire for returning to nature.
