The paper is meant to sum up the achievements of researching on Records of Ming and Qing Dynasty by Korean Diplomatic Corps up to now, while pointing out the future research fields. There are so many achievements invarious fields by increasing attentionon literature value of the records in a spects of literature, ideology and cultural exchange by researchers from China and South Korea. The achievements lay the foundation for future scholars. Meanwhile, there are obvious differences on emphasis and methods between the two countries’ scholars. We looks it as valuable information on history of exchanging in politics, economics, diplomacy and culture much more, while Korean researchers taking it as important data of history of literature. The reason for that was that on the one hand, the content of records did have sense of distance to Korean social reality, because most of it described the status of society in Ming and Qing Dynasty. On the other hand, no matter pilgrimage or foreign affairs, the diplomacy or cultural exchange is uncoordinated, and it goes against with the rising opinion of Nationalism in South Korea. It also leads to the phenomenon that the research in Chinese literary circles paid more attention to historiography as research method, while Korean took literature more. There are also some different features on the other researching fields between the two countries. These achievements that highlight the differences between standpoint and viewpoint in historical documents declared more necessity of international cooperation and subject cooperation. Predictably, along with the deepening exchange of the two countries, the prospect of research on the records will be more worth expecting, and there will be more achievements.
