Aspect and implication of Chinese poetry creation by Mogye Kimhongrak

모계 金鴻洛은 퇴계학의 정맥 학봉 김성일의 후손으로 西山 金興洛과 拓菴 金道和를 스승으로 섬겼다. 그는 현실에서 감당해야 했던 냉담함과 암울함의 무게를 학문적 교유를 통한 유학의 본원을 찾아가는 것으로 慰撫 하며, 그것을 유지 보존해 나가는 것이 남은 생애 자신의 역할이라고 인식하였다. 이를 통하여 암울하게 자신을 짓누르는 망국이라는 현실에서 지식인의 책무에 대한 부채감을 내려놓고 온전히 자연과 동화되어가는 모습을 보여준다. 모계는 강학이 이루어지는 학문적 공간을 유학의 부흥을 모색할 수 있는 신성한 장소로 인식하였으며, 그가 ‘靈區’로 가장 많이 인용한 곳은 ‘석문정’이다. ‘신령한 곳’에서의 ‘망기’는 학봉의 적통을 계승한 유학자 본연의 수양과 성찰이 승화되어 자연과 동화된 모습으로 형상화된 것이다. 모계의 시에서 드러난 ‘망기’의 서정은 망국이라는 갈등과 고뇌를 극복해가는 과정에서 나타나는 유학자로서의 은자적 모습이다. 모계가 禮를 통한 교화를 실천하는 일과 人倫의 근본을 지키는 일, 그리고 誠하고, 勤謹하는 일은 모두 유학의 본원적 가치 가운데 下學의 일에 해당하는 것으로 현실적인 실용성이 부각된 가치이다. 망국의 상황을 극복할 수 있는 정신적 계도가 필요한 향민과 후학들에게 모계는 유학의 본원인 하학의 일을 실천하는 것으로 내실을 공고히 하는 방안을 제시하였다. 이름 없이 은거를 자처한 이가 도덕적 고결함을 지키면서 행할 수 있는 유일한 세상과의 소통 방법이었다.

Momgye Kim Hongrak, Descendants of Hakbong Kim Seongil, the authenticity of Toegye study, served Xishan Jinxingluo and Tuoan Jindaohe. He regarded it his duty to bear the burden of apathy and melancholy and find comfort by investigating the roots of Confucianism through academic interactions. By doing it, he assimilated with nature by letting go of the sense of debt for the responsibility of the intellectuals in the reality of a ruined country that is grimly weighing on them. Mogye regarded the place of academics as a sacred place where he could consult for the revival of Confucian, and The place he most cited as sanctuary is ‘Seokmunjeong’. ‘Manggi’ in it is embodied in a form assimilated with nature by the fostering and reflection of the Confucian scholars who inherited the legacy of Hakbong. The lyricism of ‘Manggi’ is the eremitic features as a Confucian revealed in the pursuance of overcoming the conflict and anguish of being destructured. Accomplishing the reformation by proprieties, keeping the fundamentals of morals, sincerity and diligence are among the fundamental values o f Confucianism which corresponds to the ‘Hahak’ and is a value that has been emphasized for its practical utility. To younger scholars who need mental enlightenment to overcome the state of ruin, Mogye presented the solution that solidifies the internal structure by practicing the work of Hahak, the origin of Confucian. It was the only way that could communicate with the world to a person who claimed to be in hiding without a name while preserving moral integrity.
