The article analyses the phenomenons and the causation of the doubling of personal pronoun short form in Bulgarian and Macedonian(Where it reaches its most extreme development in comparison to the other Balkan languages) and argues that it is due to fundamental intralinguistic and extralinguistic development factors. The Macedonian personal pronoun short form is used more productive than the form in Bulgarian. Also The Macedonian personal pronoun short form can be posited in every where in the sentences(even in the first position), unlike the Bulgarian personal pronoun short form. I go prodade stanot na majka mu. (Mac) Апартамента го продаде на майка си. (Bg) This article claims that this is due to the development stage of the definite article and demonstrative pronouns in both languages And also it IS from the stress assignment system in both languages.
