국가직무능력표준(NCS) 도입의 필요성 탐색

Exploring the Dance Major Curriculum Applying of the National Competency Standards (NCS): Focusing on the case of dance education at A University

목적 본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업혁명에 따른 대학의 무용과 교육과정의 개선을 위해 국가직무능력표준(NCS, National Competency Standards) 도입의 필요성을 탐색하는 것이다. 방법 본 연구의 수행을 위해 연구자료는 반구조화된 질문으로 구성하여 심층면담을 통해 수집되었다. 연구 참여자는 A대학 무용과 4학년 학생들 8명을 대상으로하여 무용과 교육과정에 대한 인식, 진로와 교육과정 구성의 관계, 진로상담의 실효성, 진로선택의 장애 요인에 대한 심층면담 실시하였다. 결과 참여자들은 첫 째, 무용과 교육과정에 대한 인식에 대해서, 사회 변화에 따라 개설된 교과목은 늘었으나 교수학습방법과 내용의 질적인 측면에서 충족되지 못한다고 하였다. 둘 째, 진로와 교육과정 구성의 관계에 대해서 지나친 실기교과 중심의 교육과정과 공연에 편중된 학교생활에 대한 개선이 필요하며, 진로와 관련된 교육과정의 개발을 희망했다. 셋 째, 진로상담의 효용성은 거의 없다고 느끼고 있었다. 지도 교수와 진로상담이 전혀 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 진로 정보라도 얻을 수 있는 통로마련이 시급하다고 하였다. 넷 째, 진로선택에 있어서 장애가 되는 가장 큰 요인은 정보 부족이라고 하였다. 결론 4차 산업혁명의 특징인 영역간의 초연결, 속도, 창의적인 융합 능력에 적합한 무용계의 인재양성을 위해 무용 직무와 그에 따른 능력개발의 연구가 필요하다. 또한 무용직무와 능력개발을 위해 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에 기반 한 대학 무용교육과정과 현장이 연계된 개선이 요구된다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of introducing National Competency Standards (NCS) to improve the higher education dance education curriculum according to the 4th Industrial Revolution. Methods For the implementation of this study, the research data were composed of semi-structured questions and collected through in-depth interviews. Participants in the study conducted in-depth interviews with eight fourth-grade students in the Department of Dance at the University on the perception of the dance curriculum, the relationship between career and curriculum composition, the effectiveness of career counseling, and obstacles to career choice. Results Participants responded that first, regarding the perception of the dance curriculum, the number of courses were provided according to social environment changes increased, however, they were not satisfied with teaching and learning methods and content quality. Second, regarding the relation between career decision and curriculum courses, to improve school centered on excessive practical curriculum and performances, and hoped to develop a career-related curriculum. Third, they referred that career decision counseling was almost ineffective. Career decision counseling with the adviser professor was almost not conducted them, and to obtain career information service is requested to decision. Fourth, the most obstacle barrier of the career decision has appeared that the time factor was hinder career decision. Conclusions The remarkable feature of the 4th industrial revolution like super connectivity, speed, and creative convergence ability for the cultivating dance research field and the industry, will have to be developed. In addition, improvement in linked tasks based on higher education dance major course curriculum will have to be reformed by conducting the National Competency Standards (NCS).
