Objective: This study was conducted to provide basic data for occupational therapy of people with spinal cord injuries by confirming the correlation between upper limb pain, daily life activities and quality of life. Method: From June 20 to November 20, 2020, 118 people with spinal cord injuries were surveyed. Measured using NRS, SCIM-Ⅲ and WHOQoL-BREF in 118 patients with disability SCI. Results: There was a significant correlation between breathing, sphincter control and total score of daily life activities in the neck of upper limb pain, breathing and sphincter control in the hand, movement and total point(p<.05). In addition, the neck of upper limb pain was correlated to psychological health, social relations, and total score in quality of life, and the shoulder and elbow significantly correlated with physical health(p<.05). The correlation between daily activity and quality of life showed a high correlation in all categories(p<.05). Conclusion: This study showed that the greater the upper limb pain resulting from a spinal cord injuries, the lower the ADL and QoL. Upper limb pain has been found to affect daily activities and quality of life.
