코로나바이러스감염증-19에 대한 대학생의 지식, 인지도, 감염예방행위가 백신 예방접종에 미치는 영향

Effect of University Students’ Knowledge, Awareness, and Infection Preventive Behavior on COVID-19 Vaccination

본 연구는 대학생들의 코로나바이러스감염증-19에 대한 지식, 인지도, 감염예방행위, 백신 예방접종률을 확인하고, 지식, 인지도, 감염예방행위가 예방접종률에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 수행하였다. 2021년 12월 27일부터 29일까지 온라인으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 수집된 202명의 자료를 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 대상자의 93.6%가 코로나바이러스감염증-19 예방접종을 시행하였으며, 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 예방접종률의 차이는 없었다. 코로나바이러스감염증-19에 대한 지식은 17점 중 3.06점으로 낮았으며, 인지도는 48점 중 37.16점이었고, 감염예방행위는 80점 중 56.91점이었다. 코로나바이러스감염증-19 예방접종에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 인지도만이 유의하였으며(O.R.=1.247, p=.007), 지식과 감염예방행위는 유의하지 않았다. 이에 코로나바이러스감염증-19에 대한 지식을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 또한 예방접종률 증진 프로그램 개발 시에는 예방접종에 대한 인지도를 높일 수 있는 방안에 초점을 둔 프로그램 개발을 제언한다.

This study was conducted to examine the knowledge, awareness, infection preventive behavior and vaccination rate of COVID-19 among university students and to understand the effects of their knowledge, awareness, and infection preventive behavior on vaccination. An online survey was conducted from December 27 to 29, 2021, and the data collected from 202 people was analyzed using SPSS 18.0. 93.6% of the subjects were vaccinated against COVID-19, and there was no difference in the vaccination rate depending on the general characteristics of the subjects. Knowledge on COVID-19 showed lowest score resulting in 3.06 out of 17 points, while the scores on awareness was 37.16 out of 48 points and those of infection preventive behavior showed 56.91 out of 80 points. Only awareness was shown to be significant as a factor influencing COVID-19 vaccination (O.R.=1.247, p=.007), whereas knowledge and infection preventive behavior were not significant. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an educational program to increasing knowledge about COVID-19. In addition, it suggests to develop a program focusing on measures to increase awareness of vaccination, when developing a vaccination promotion program.
