Archive of the Department of Land Management and Geodesy of Mongolia is keeping a rare painting that specifically marks of the postal station area. On the painting, geographical object is written in Manchu. It is still unknown who is the creator and when did it create for what purpose. Therefore, in this article, we wanted to clarify the features of the map of the area owned by this station and some related uncertain issues. Although, the postal station is not the main administrative unit, it demands to perform a crucial postal function for a long time in permanent form, so the state has granted temporary possession of a land and created local map schedule. In addition, traders and travellers were not allowed to enter the postal station without a permit, also local livestock are not allowed in the postal station area. The temporary areas of the postal station are located in a row along the station road. However, the map of the local station is described in Mongolian drawing method, the astrological wheel was not used, the measurement of the Fu was not observed, and is not stamped and the specified name and date are not marked. In other words, some of the rules in Mongolian maps are not followed. Although, some of the lands name in the postal station territory are listed, drew a Chinese tillage and marked who owned it. From here, we consider the painting is created to settle the dispute because the Chinese planted crops along with the territory of the postal station and the postal station road. Nowadays, the postal stations depicted in the map are located in Batsumber soum of Tuv province, Mandal and Bayangol soums of Selenge province. This local map of the possession areas of the postal station were marked is a history and valuable cultural heritage created by the Mongolians.
