한강 자전거도로의 노면 표시에 관한 연구

A Study on Road Markings on the Han River Bike Path: Focused on he Color Lane

자전거는 지속가능한 녹색 교통수단으로써 이미 대중교통수단이나 레저 활동 목적으로도 각광받고 있는 상황이다. 이에 이용인구도 꾸준히 증가하고 있고 정부에서도 자전거 이용 활성화 정책으로 2010년 3월 자전거 이용 활성화와 자전거 교통시대를 열기 위한「10년 자전거 정책 추진계획」을 발표하였다. 그러나 이용인구의 증가와 함께 교통약자인 노인이나 여성 및 어린이, 초행길 운전자를 위한 이용환경이나 안전사고의 대책은 미흡한 편이어서 궁극적인 지속가능 교통 시스템으로의 전환이 필요한 상황이다. 이에 선행 연구에서는 자전거도로 이용에서 안전성을 도모하기 위한 연구로서, 서울 한강을 중심으로 기존에 설치되어 있는 자전거도로 중 주요 5개 하천인 안양천, 탄천, 양재천, 홍제천, 중랑천을 연구대상지로 하여 2017년 5월부터 2018년 3월까지, 시각정보와 물리적 이용시설에 대하여 자전거 이용자를 대상으로 현황조사와 이용에 관한 설문조사를 실시한바 있다. 본 연구에서는 그중 이용자들이 시인성 측면에서는 지주형 보다는 바닥면에 보다 높게 관심을 기울인다는 결과와, 최근 고속도로와 일반도로 등의 인터체인지나 톨게이트, 분기점 등에서도 바닥면에 컬러 유도선을 설치함으로써 안전사고율을 낮추는데 매우 효과가 큰 것으로 검증되었고 다양한 장소에서도 많이 적용하고 있는 상황에 근거하여 자전거도로에서도 교차점이나 분기점에 컬러 유도선을 제안하였다. 이는 자동차 도로처럼 신호등이나 차선이 명확히 구분되어 있지 않은 좁고 복잡한 자전거도로에서 컬러 유도선이 보다 안전하고 지속가능한 설계요소로서 효과가 높아질 것으로 기대한다.

As the means of sustainable green transportation, bicycles are already in the spotlight as a means of public transportation or leisure activities. In keeping with this trend, the number of users is steadily increasing, and the government announced the「10-year bicycle policy promotion plan」to promote bicycle use and open the era of bicycle transportation in March 2010 as a bicycle use revitalization policy. However, along with the increase in the number of users, there exist the poor use environment for the elderly, women and children, and first-time drivers, who are weak in transportation, and insufficient measures to prevent safety accidents. So the current situation is that the transition to the ultimate sustainable transportation system is necessary. Accordingly, the previous study, as a study to promote safety in the use of bicycle roads, set the research subjects such as Anyangcheon, Tancheon, Yangjaecheon, Hongjecheon, and Jungnangcheon, which are five major rivers among the existing bicycle roads, with the Han River in Seoul as the center. And over the period between March 2017 and March 2018, it conducted the current status survey of visual information and physical facilities for bicycle users and the questionnaire research on their bicycle use. In this study, the results showed that bicycle users paid more attention to the floor face than the post type in terms of visibility, and it was proven that the safety accident rate was very effectively improved by recently installing colored guide lines on the floor in interchanges, toll gates, and junctions on highways and general roads. Based on the situation where the color guide line is widely applied in various places, this study proposed its installation at intersections and junctions even on bicycle paths. This shows that the colored guide line is expected to have high effectiveness as a safer and more sustainable design element on narrow and complex bicycle roads where traffic lights or lanes are not clearly separated like automobile roads.
