국내 복권산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석

The Economic Spill-over Effects of the Lottery Industry in Korea

본 연구는 국내 복권산업의 경제적 파급효과를 추정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 복권기금의 분야별 지출과 복권사업 운영비 지출이 국민경제 전체의 생산, 부가가치, 고용 등에 미치는 영향을 한국은행의 2015년 산업연관표(input-output table)를 이용해 분석하였다. 2012년부터 2018년까지 전제 생산 유발효과는 21조 7,603억원에 달하였고 부가가치 유발효과는 11조 8,515억원, 취업 유발효과는 162,613명이며, 이중 123,493명은 피고용자 형태로 파급효과가 발생한 것으로 추정되었다.

This paper estimates the economic spill-over effects of the lottery industry in Korea. The paper analyzes how the expenditures of lottery funds and lottery business operating expenses influence the production, value-added, and employment of the national economy using the 2015 input-output table of the Bank of Korea. The spill-over effects of the lottery industry from 2012 to 2018 are as follows : the overall production-inducing effect was estimated to reach KRW 21.76 trillion, the value-added effect KRW 11.85 trillion, and the employment-inducing effect 162,613 people, of which 123,493 were employees.
