코로나 시대에 경험한 비대면 수업의 장단점에 비추어 포스트코로나 시대의 교육은 블렌디드 러닝이 뉴노멀이 될 것이라는 의견이 지배적이다. 그러나 왜 블렌디드 러닝이 포스트코로나 시대에 필요한지, 구체적으로 어떻게 적용하고 실천되어야 하는지에 대한 구체적인 논의는 많지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 포스트코로나 시대의 기초교양교육을 위한 교수학습 방법으로서 블렌디드 러닝의 적용 필요성과 기초교 양교육 수업에서 블렌디드 러닝을 효과적으로 구현하기 위한 방법과 요구사항이 무엇인지에 대해 논의하고자 하였다. 블렌디드 러닝은 ‘지식교육을 배제하지 않으면서도 역량의 구성요소를 균형적으로 개발할 수 있는 학습자 참여 중심 수업’이 가능한 교수학습 방법으로 지식 획득과 역량 강화를 목표로 하는 기초교양교육 에 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 기초교양교육을 위한 블렌디드 러닝의 실천을 위한 방법으로서 첫째, 학생들 의 학습경험의 균일화와 학습 효과성 향상을 위한 표준화된 동영상 개발과 활용, 마이크로 러닝 형태의 모듈화 콘텐츠 개발이 필요함을 제안하였다. 둘째, 기초교양교육 교과목 특성과 학습자 특성을 고려하여 학습분석과 인공지능을 활용한 학생 수준별 맞춤형 교수학습 방법을 제안하였다. 셋째, 기초교양교육에 서 블렌디드 러닝을 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서는 교과목별로 블렌디드 러닝을 위한 교육모델을 개발하고, 이를 잘 운영할 수 있도록 교수들의 역량을 강화하는 교수개발이 필수적임을 강조하였다. 넷째, 블렌디드 러닝으로의 교육방법 변화와 대학차원의 대규모 확산을 위해서는 개별 교수자가 아닌 조직 중심의 교육과정 재설계 프로젝트를 실행해야 함을 제안하였다.
Considering the number of non-face-to-face classes occurring in the Covid-19 era, it is now widely recognized that blended learning will become the new normal for education in the post-Corona era. However, detailed discussions have not sufficiently taken place as to why blended learning is necessary in the post-Corona era, nor how this type of learning should be applied and practiced. Therefore, this paper discusses the necessity of applying blended learning as a teaching and learning method for basic and general education in the post-Corona era. It also examines the methods and requirements for effectively implementing blended learning for these future classes. As blended learning enables ‘ student-centered teaching’ or ‘active learning’in order to develop the various competencies without excluding knowledge education, it is suitable for basic and general education that aims to strengthen competencies as well as to acquire knowledge. As a method for practicing blended learning for basic liberal arts education, first, we suggest that it is necessary to develop standardized video-lectures for the uniformity of the students learning experience and for the improvement of learning effectiveness, as well as the development of modular content in the form of micro-learning. Second, considering the characteristics of basic and general education subjects and and the learners themselves, it is suggested that we customize teaching-learning methods for each student level using learning analytics and artificial intelligence. Third, we emphasize that it is necessary to develop an educational model for blended learning for each subject and to strengthen the competencies of professors in order to effectively operate blended learning classes in basic and general education. Fourth, we suggest that an organization-oriented curriculum redesign project be implemented to change the educational method to blended learning and to spread it on a large scale at the university level.
