This study was carried out to develop new wood. adhesive for the manufacture of plywood. It was the. new and simple, rapid method of isolation and purification of plasma proteins of HCl-precipitated pig bloods, furthermore because it was utilized waste bloods from slaughtered animals, It was able to prevent water pollution. Also This method was more economic than TCA-precipitated blood. HCl-precipitated blood glue will be a new wood adhesives in plywo The results are as follows: 1. The optimum viscosity range of HCl-precipitated blood glue was 7000-31000cps. Therefore the best combination ratio were water 44g, HCl-precipitated blood flour 5g, wood flour(#200) 1.4g, diesel oil O.5g, 50% NaOH 1.1g, Ca(OH)) O.47g and Sodium silicate 2.2g(D type). 2. Tensile-shear bonding strength of plywood manufactured by HCl-precipitated blood glue met a KS(korean standards) in the all combination factors. Also the combination ratio of the best tensile-shear bonding strength was the D type.
