The purpose of this paper is to present a design through user participation design at Ganghwa High School located in Ganghwa Island, Incheon. By considering the stages of the school space innovation project, I would like to propose a space that contains effective design strategies for users such as students, teachers, and parents to create future classroom. First, through a Pre-Questionnaire, the user s opinions on school space innovation were investigated and the space class project was conducted. After conducting classes to help students understand the project and derive students thoughts, the space is modeled. Finally, we had time to display the work and explain the theme and content of the space. After class, students thoughts were organized through a questionnaire. Based on the user participation design, the design was confirmed and customized module structure furniture design reflecting various opinions of users was included. In this way, the advantage of using future classroom designed through user participation design is that students can check their own career and interest, and the affection for schools and the rate of use of school spaces have increased. This process has a very positive effect on the school and presents good design results that everyone is satisfied with, and design research on user participation design methods should continue in the future.
