초등돌봄교실 서비스 수요 유형과 돌봄 서비스 만족도 차이 분석

Types of Demand for Child Care Service and Analysis of Differences in Satisfaction of Elementary Care Class

본 연구에서는 초등돌봄교실 서비스 수요에 따른 잠재집단의 특성을 분석하고, 각 집단별 돌봄 서비스 만족도를 비교하였다. 이를 통하여 수요자 특성에 맞는 초등돌봄교실의 기능 강화 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 초등돌봄교실 서비스 수요에 대한 실증적 분석을 위하여 경기도 용인시에서 수행한 초등돌봄교실 이용자 대상의 설문조사 자료를 활용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 아래와 같다. 첫째, 돌봄 서비스 수요를 바탕으로 잠재계층분석을 실시한 결과 ‘정기적 돌봄 선호 집단’, ‘안전한 일시보호 선호 집단’, ‘비정기적 돌봄 선호 집단’으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 아동의 연령과 유사 자원의 인지여부에 따라 돌봄 서비스 수요 유형에 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 서비스 수요 유형에 따른 집단 간 돌봄 서비스 만족 수준에 차이를 보였다. 위의 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음의 제언을 하였다. 첫째, 초등돌봄교실에서 제공되는 서비스는 아동 및 보호자의 서비스 수요에 따라 유연하게 제공되어야 한다. 둘째, 아동 및 보호자의 특성에 따라 돌봄 서비스의 초점을 다르게 설정하여야 한다. 이상의 결과는 초등돌봄교실의 기능강화와 특성화에 대한 실증적 근거를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of latent classes according to the demand for child care service and to compare the satisfaction of Elementary Care Class. The data from the survey on child care service by Yongin City was used. The results of this study are as follows. First, three groups(group1: prefer regular care programs, group2: prefer safe temporary protection, group3: prefer irregular care programs) were classified through latent class analysis. Second, the type of care service demand was different according to the characteristics of children and households. Third, there was a difference in the satisfaction of the service provided by Elementary Care Class according to the type of care service demand. The suggestions are as follows. First, the services provided by Elementary Care Class should be flexibly provided reflecting the needs of children and parents for care services. Second, the focus of care services should be set differently according to the characteristics of children and parents.
