이 연구는 홍익인간 사상의 현대 적용에 의거한 남북통일정책의 실현방향 구상을 시도하였다. 연구수행을 통해, 첫째, 홍익인간 사상에 대한 성통·공완수행의 방법과, 재세이화의 국내 및 지구촌적 실천범위를 포함한 현대적 적용상실천방법을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 남북통일정책과 관련한 남한과 북한 및 관계국간에 상대관계의 고려 하에서 차별이 없도록 남북 전체 모두의 이익이 공유될 수 있는 실현과 관련한 적용원칙 및 결정원칙을 모색하였다. 셋째, 개인에서 가정·사회·민족·국가까지의 홍익인간 관점이나 경제적 이익·편익 등 가치 지향의 측면과, 법률·제도 등 재세이화 실천의 실현을 감안해 남북통일정책의 실현관련 기본방향을 모색하였다. 이를 바탕으로 남북통일정책관련 도덕적 책임감 아래 현재 여건에 대한 실현목표 및 추진전략 구상결과를 제시하였다. 결론으로 본고는 한민족 고유사상인 홍익인간 사상의 정치이념 실현측면에서 국정운영분야 중의 중요한 분야인 남북통일정책 사안에 대한 현대적 적용 모색을 시도하고, 도덕적 책임감 하의 실현목표 및 추진전략 등을 포함한 실현방향을 구상한 데에 커다란 의미가 있다고 하겠다. 본고는 미래에 모두에게 이익이 될 수 있는 남북통일이 실현될 수 있도록 홍익인간 사상의 현대 실현 가능성에 대한 새로운 지평을 보여준 기여점이 있다고 하겠다.
In this study, we attempted to find out the direction of the realization of Korean reunification policy based on the modern application of Hongik-Ingan ideas. From the results of the study, first, the modern application method of the ideas was considered. Second, the application and decision-making principles related to realization were sought under the consideration of relative relations between South and North Korea and related countries related to the Korean reunification policy. Third, we sought the basic direction related to the realization of the unification policy of the two Koreas, considering the perspective & economic benefits of Hongik-Ingan from individuals to households, society, people, countries, etc, and the realization of Jaese-Ihwa s practice such as laws and systems, etc. And, under moral responsibility related to Korean reunification policy, we presented the results of seeking realization goals and strategies for current conditions. As an implication, this study will have a contribution that has shown a new horizon for the possibility of modern realization of the ideas so that Korean reunification, which can benefit everyone, can be realized.
