데이터 기반 교육 질 관리 체제 수립을 위한 인식 및 요구조사

A Study on the Perceptions and Demands Survey for the Establishment of a Data-Driven Education Quality Management System: Focusing on W University

본 연구의 목적은 데이터 기반 교육 질 관리 체제 수립을 위해 대학 구성원 및 전문가대상으로 인식조사를 실시하고 대학 내 구성원의 요구도를 분석하여 함의를 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 W대학 교직원과 데이터 기반 교육 질 관리 실무를 담당하는 전문가들을 대상으로 인식조사를 실시하였으며, 순위응답분석, 중요도-수행도 등을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, W대학 구성원과 전문가들은 ‘대학 구성원의 이해, 협조 및 참여’를 중요하게 인식하였으며, ‘부서 목표 설정’과 ‘데이터 분석 결과 공유플랫폼 마련’의 우선순위에서는 차이를 나타냈다. 대학 구성원의 과업별 요구도를 분석하여, 시스템 구축, 데이터 수집 및 분석 연구, 적용/환류, 정책연구 측면에서 과업의 중요도는 높으나 수행도가 낮은 집중영역 및 중요도, 수행도가 모두 높은 유지영역의 과업을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 데이터 기반 교육 질 관리의 성공적인 활동이 대학 경쟁력 강화에 필수적임을 인식하고 질 관리 활동을 내실 있게 수행할 수 있는 방향성을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to derive implications by conducting a perception survey on university members and experts to establish a data-driven educational quality management system, and analyzing the needs of university members. To this end, a perception survey was conducted on 157 faculty members of W University and 6 experts who were in charge of data-driven quality management practice, and ranking response analysis, IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis), and correspondence sample t-test analysis were performed. According to the analysis, W University members and experts recognized understanding, co-operation and participation of university members as important, and indicated differences in priorities in setting department s goals and preparing a platform for data analysis results sharing . In addition, as a result of analyzing the needs through differences in the importance and performance of each data-driven quality management task for members of W University, the tasks in the concentration area with high importance but low performance and the maintenance area with high importance and performance were derived in terms of system construction, data collection and analysis research, application and feedback, and policy research. This study is significant in recognizing that successful activities of data-driven education quality management are essential to strengthening university competitiveness, and suggesting a direction for performing quality management activities in a substantial way.
