듀이의 경험주의 도덕교육론 탐구

This thesis aims at interpret the moral education based on Dewey’s empiricism. The success of moral education can be improved by moral classes at school and by moral teachers and the overall atmosphere of schools. School is the original form of communal living and moral training should be in line with this idea. Moral principle is not the condition for moral actions. Classes are a way which make children understand social structure. A curriculum that is designed to such integrated and wholistic goals can be construted to improve intellectual growth and moral education. Dewey’s moral educational methodology is a constructivist education. The psychological part of moral education can be summed up as character and habit; not only intellectual judgement but also personal delicate emotional empathy is necessary.
