언택트 시대의 글쓰기 클리닉 운영의 과제

A Study on the Task of Running a Writing clinic in the Untact Era: For Sungkyunkwan University s writing clinic

본 연구는 대학의 글쓰기 교육의 지속성과 현재성을 위해 운영되는 비교과 프로그램 글쓰기 클리닉에서 실시간 원격 화상 지도를 진행하며 고려되어야 하는 바와 효과및 그 제고 방안을 고찰하는 데에 목적이 있다. 특히 성균관대학교의 글쓰기 클리닉은 튜터링을 추구하여 실시간 원격 화상 지도 방식을 도입하는 데에 적절하다. 이에성균관대학교 글쓰기 클리닉의 운영 현황을 살펴보고, 코로나-19 시국 이후 도입한실시간 원격 화상 지도의 특질을 확인하였다. 이 특질은 지도 텍스트의 다차적 (재)생산에 있으며, 이는 튜터링을 통한 글쓰기 지도에 실질적인 도움을 준다. 하지만 온라인 상담에 익숙하지 않은 학습자의 의식은 실시간 원격 화상 지도 도입 후 글쓰기 클리닉의 이용 규모가 대폭 축소하는 데에 원인이 되었다. 이에 글쓰기 클리닉과 실시간 원격 화상 지도의 학습 효과를 학생들에게 인식시키는 노력이 필요한 때이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how to improve the effectiveness of conducting real-time remote video guidance at the non-subject program writing clinic operated for the continuity and presentation of university writing education. In particular, Sungkyunkwan University’s writing clinic is suitable for introducing a real-time remote video guidance method by pursuing tutoring. Accordingly, the operation status of Sungkyunkwan University’s writing clinic was examined, and the characteristics of real-time remote video guidance introduced after the COVID-19 situation were confirmed. This characteristic lies in the (re)production of guidance text several times and this actually helps with writing guidance through tutoring. However, learners were reluctant to consult online, so they did not apply as actively as they did for real-time original video guidance, and the size of writing clinics was greatly reduced. Therefore, it is time to make efforts to recognize the learning effects of writing clinics and real-time remote video guidance to students.
