A Study on the Types of Feedback for Writing Liberal Arts Online Classes

본 연구는 교양국어 온라인 수업에 따른 피드백의 유형화 과정을 논의하고 학습자반응에 따른 효율적인 피드백 방안을 고찰하는데 있다. 글쓰기 관련 교육은 복잡한단계의 의사소통 과정이 수반된다는 점에서 다양하고 심도있는 피드백이 수반되어야한다. 비대면 온라인 수업이 장기화되면서 자기 주도 학습 능력에 따른 학력 격차가확대된다는 점에서 학습자의 교육적 성취 과정을 독려하는 학습 활동이 필요해졌다. 글쓰기 교과과정에서 원활한 의사소통을 실현하는 대표적인 방안이 피드백이다. 학습자 중심의 교육 과정이 중시되는 시점에서, 온라인 수업은 학생들 스스로 강의 영상 자료를 숙지하고, 이에 대한 심화 학습활동을 이어나가야 한다. 피드백을 경험한 학습자들은 수요조사를 통해 수업안의 이해도, 학업 성취도와 자기 주도 학습에필수적으로 교수자와의 상호 작용을 고려하였으며, 이를 토대로 피드백의 긍정적인측면을 제시했다. 학습자간의 상호작용 및 협력이 어려운 상황에서 이에 대한 간극과어려움 그리고 심리적 부담감 등이 이유로 학생들은 개인적인 피드백 활동을 선호하였다. 본 연구는 피드백을 경험한 학습자들의 수요조사를 통해 교육적 효과를 가늠하고학업 성취도와 자기 주도 학습, 교수자와의 상호 작용 등의 효율성을 고찰하고자 피드백의 만족도를 알아보았다. 현대 사회에서 글쓰기는 정보와 지식을 조합하는 행위에서 발현한다. 글쓰기는 수많은 정보 중 선택과 수합의 과정을 거치는 적극적인 소통 행위라는 측면에서 본 연구는 온라인 수업안을 구체화하는 하나의 방법론을 제공하고자 했다.

This study aims to investigate the types of feedback conducted in the liberal arts online class and to investigate students preferences. Writing education involves learning about complex communication processes. Therefore, the role of feedback supporting this is important, especially in online classes. In online classes, students must study video materials on their own and proceed with in-depth learning of their contents. Students who experienced feedback were asked through a satisfaction survey whether the instructor’s counseling process was important for academic achievement and self-directed learning. Students showed psychological difficulties in favoring individual activities while recognizing the importance of interaction. This study aims to investigate the effect of students feedback satisfaction. The types of feedback and the effectiveness of writing were investigated. The process of making students aware of the writing process is enabled through active communication with the instructor. This online feedback research aims to present a specific educational method.
