협력적 글쓰기 교육의 효과 제고 방안

A Teaching Method to Improve the Effectiveness of Collaborative Writing: Focusing on ‘Subject Selection’ Guidance

이 연구는 대학 교양 글쓰기의 실효성을 증대해야 하는 교육 현장의 요구에 대한학문적 대응이다. 이 논문에서는 협력적 글쓰기 교육의 필요성과 유의미성을 전제로, 그 효과를 구현할 실천적 교수법을 다각적으로 모색하는 데 기여하고자 글쓰기의 ‘주제 선정’ 과정을 협력학습의 방식으로 진행한 사례를 제시했다. 대학 신입생들은 특정 대상에 대한 자기 관점에 따른 해석으로서의 주제를 설정하는 데 미숙하다. 따라서 미숙한 필자를 능숙한 필자로 성장하도록 하는 효과적인 글쓰기 교수법이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 그 필요를 충족할 수 있는 교수법이 학습자들 간 상호작용을 최대화하는 협력학습에 있다고 보고, 주제 선정 절차를 진행하고결과를 피드백하는 데 적용한 구체적인 방식을 제시하고 그 효과를 검증했다. 이러한 교수법에 따른 주제 선정 지도가 산출한 가장 중요한 효과는 학습자들의 주도적 참여와 능동적인 발견을 통한 개인의 성장이다. 또한 지속적인 글쓰기 훈련에대한 학습자들의 자발적 의지를 추동하는 데도 효과적이다. 따라서 이 논문에서 제시한 수업사례가 협력 글쓰기의 효과를 구현하는 교수법을 모색하는 데 의미 있는 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라고 본다.

This study is an academic response to the educational field’s need to increase the effectiveness of college liberal arts writing. In this paper, the subject selection process of writing was implemented as a collaborative learning method in order to contribute to the multifaceted search for practical teaching methods to realize its effectiveness. College freshmen are inexperienced in setting the subject. Therefore, there is a need for an effective writing teaching method that would allow an inexperienced writer to grow into a proficient one. This study posited that such a teaching method lies in collaborative learning that maximizes the interaction between learners. Furthermore the specific method applied to the subject selection process and feedback is presented, and its effectiveness have been verified. The most important effect of the subject selection guidance according to this teaching method is the learners personal growth through their active participation and discovery. It was also found to be effective in driving the learners voluntary will for continuous writing training. Therefore, it is believed that the class case presented in this thesis can serve as a meaningful reference to find a teaching method that realizes the effect of collaborative writing.
