구조화된 집단상담 프로그램의 지도자 훈련 경험에 관한 질적연구

A Qualitative Case Study on Leader’s Experience of Structured Group Counseling

본 연구의 목적은 구조화된 집단상담 프로그램의 집단상담 지도자가 집단상담 훈련을 통해 무엇을 경험하는지 이해하고 설명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 S대학교 학생상담센터에 소속되어 대인관계 향상 집단상담 프로그램의 집단상담 지도자로 활동했던 11명을 대상으로 집단상담 지도자 경험에 대해 심층 면담을 진행하였고, 자료들을 분석하여 질적 사례연구 방법을 적용하여 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 6개의 하위범주와 3개의 주제를 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 <집단상담에 대한 인식과 인상적인 집단상담 참여경험을 지니고 리더로 입문함>, <과학적 개발절차에 기반한체계화된 운영 안에서 보호와 도움을 받음>, <리더 경험을 통해 배우며 ‘나름의 성장’을 함>으로나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 연구자들은 집단상담 지도자들을 위한 실제적인 실습 사례로서 S대학교의 구조화된 집단상담 훈련 프로그램을 경험한 집단상담 지도자들의 훈련 경험과 그 의미를심층적으로 살펴보고 집단상담 지도자로서 입문단계에서의 적응과 성장에 주는 상담학적 함의를 도출하여 기술하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand and explain what a group counseling leader of a structured group counseling program experiences through group counseling training. In-depth interviews were conducted with 11 participants who worked at S University Student Counseling Center and served as group counseling leaders of the interpersonal relationship improvement group counseling program to look into their experiences as group counseling leaders. The data were analyzed and the qualitative case study method was applied. As a result of the analysis, 6 subcategories and 3 subjects were derived. The results of the study were defined as <Joined as a leader with awareness of group counseling and impressive experience in group counseling>, <Received protection and help within a systematic operation based on scientific development procedures>, and <Learned through leadership experience and made ‘personal growing of his/her own’>. Through this study, the researchers examined in depth the training experience of group counseling leaders who worked in S University’s structured group counseling training program and reviewed its meaning as a practical case for group counseling leaders. The study provided the implications for counseling to help adaptation and growth of group counseling leaders in the introductory stage.
