조선후기 분재와 가정경영 그리고 지역사회

Property Distribution, Household Management, and Local Society in the late Joseon Dynasty

이 연구는 밀성박씨, 의령남씨의 사례를 대상으로 조선후기 경상좌도에 속 했던 밀양도호부 엘리트 집단의 분재 양상과 경제적 처지를 살펴보았다. 밀양 의 세 가문은 경상좌도의 퇴계학파 일원으로 활동하였으며, 이런 배경에서 이 들 가문은 학연, 혈연 그리고 지연을 배경으로 결속했다. 밀양이라는 지역적 인연의 계기 또한 이들 요소에 기반하고 있다. 분재에서도 입향, 가계 계승 그 리고 家禍에 대응하여 균등분재를 기본으로 하되 아들에 대한 차등분재와 토 지의 선택적 분재를 실현하여 밀양 지역 가산의 집적과 지역 사족 연대를 통 한 가산 교환이 있었다.

In an attempt to track the diversity of local communities in the late Joseon Dynasty, this study analyzed the characteristics of elite groups related to the community and the characteristics of property distribution conducted by them targeting Uiryeong Nam, Changnyeong Cho, and Milseong Park Clans of Miryang area. This research examines historical documents covering property distribution. To this end, these elite groups were used to describe the history of households as well as the transmission of the contents of property distribution.
