Analysis on the Global Health Diplomacy of ASEAN Countries under COVID-19

Global health diplomacy is a new form of diplomacy. Affected by COVID-19, countries have been actively engaged in global health diplomacy, and cooperation in fighting the epidemic has become the norm. ASEAN countries have used the epidemic as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation in the field of health and health. On the one hand, as the most important and influential regional intergovernmental international organization in Southeast Asia, ASEAN provides ASEAN member states with an efficient platform for global health diplomacy. On the other hand, ASEAN countries also conduct global health diplomacy through traditional bilateral diplomatic channels. ASEAN countries have developed their own special experience in the global health diplomacy to combat COVID-19, that is, bilateral diplomacy and multilateral diplomacy go hand in hand, which has important implications for other countries in the world on carrying out global health diplomacy to fight against COVID-19.
