For factor analysis for type classification, principal component analysis was performed using the PC-QUANL program. Results: As a result of the study, three types were derived. Type I was a ‘genderless type’ and showed an open attitude, thinking that there was no distinction between men and women in appearance care. Type II is a ‘consid-eration type’, showing a positive reaction to male appearance care and semi-permanent makeup procedures, and respecting personal preferences. Type III was a ‘conservative thinking type’ and had a negative and conservative reaction to male appearance care and semi-permanent makeup procedures.
