『에밀』에 나타난 자연적 발달의 연계성과 가정교육의 통합성

The connectivity of natural development and the integrity of domestic education in Emile

목적 본 연구는 『에밀』에 나타난 자연적 발달에 있어서 단계별 구성요소의 연계성을 확인하고, 가정교육에 있어서 단계별 교육의 통합성을 규명하였다. 방법 『에밀』과 관련 연구물의 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 결과 『에밀』에 나타난 자연적 발달은 감성과 이성의 구분을 기본으로 하여 시기에 따라 연계성을 가지면서 변주되는 것으로 나타났다. 루소가 말하는 교육은 가정교육에 다름 아닌데, 그것은 자유인의 체험교육으로서의 자연성 교육, 자유인의 인격교육으로서의 사회성 교육, 자유인의 실천교육으로서의 시민성 교육으로 나뉠 수 있다. 특히 청년기에 이루어지는 사회성 교육은 자연성 교육과 시민성 교육을 매개한다는 의미에서 중요하다. 가정교육의 세 단계는 자유인 교육이라는 통합성을 띤다. 결론 『에밀』의 발달적 구성요소는 감성(감정과 표상)과 이성이며, 통합적 교육목표는 자유인 교육이다.

Objectives This research tries to discover the connectivity of natural development and the integrity of domestic education in Emile. Methods This research uses the literature analysis method. Results The education in Emile includes the education of naturality, sociality, and citizenship, and their educational meanings are the experience education of freeman, the charater education of freeman, and the practice education of freeman. Conclusions The sensibility(feeling and representation) and the reason are the connective concepts of natural development, and the freeman education is the integral concept of domestic education in Emile.
