사회적기업의 사회적MCS 구축 방안에 대한 소고

A Review of Social Management Control System in Social Enterprises

[연구목적]본 연구는 21세기 기업환경의 변화에 따라서 새롭게 이슈가 되어진 사회적기업의 운영현황을 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 계속기업으로서의 사회적기업의 체계적인 운영관리 방안을 제시하고자 한다. [연구방법]일련의 방안모색을 위하여, 사회적기업에 대한 이론적 고찰 및 현황을 진단하고, 사회적기업 운영 실무자를 대상으로 인터뷰(interview)를 바탕으로 하는 사례분석을 실시하였다. [연구결과]분석결과, 첫째, 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 일반기업의 지속가능성을 사회적기업에도 필요한 조건임을 강조하였다. 즉, 사회적기업 스스로의 자생력 확보 및 지속성장 가능성을 제고해야 한다. 둘째, 사회적기업의 사회적가치 측정을 위한 다각적인 차원의 지표 개발을 모색함으로써, 보다 체계적인 사회적MCS 구축이 필요하다. 셋째, 정책적 제고 방안으로 사회적기업 육성정책 이전에 사회적기업에 대한 인식확산과 더불어, 보다 체계적인 운영방안이 모색되어야 한다. 마지막으로, 정책적 제고 방안으로 사회적기업 육성정책 이전에 사회적기업에 대한 인식확산을 위한 보다 체계적인 운영관리가 전제되어야 하고, 일련의 체계적 운영을 위한 지속가능한 사회적MCS 구축 방안이 모색되어야 한다. [연구의 시사점]향후 연구에서는, 사회적기업의 고유의 목적인 ‘사회성’과 계속기업을 실현하기 위한 ‘기업성’을 기반으로 한, 지속가능한 사회적기업으로의 확장연구를 기대한다.

[Purpose]This study examines the current status and institutional considerations of social enterprise. [Methodolody]In this study, theoretical considerations and diagnosis of the current status of social enterprise are presented. In addition, we interview three social enterprise operators. Finally, practical implications of the interviews are presented in this case study. [Findings]First, sustainability of social enterprise should be considered as a necessary condition. Second, the necessity of establishing a more systematic ‘Social Management Control System(S－MCS)’ should be emphasized by social enterprise operators. Lastly, more systematic operation plan should be considered or established to develop policies for social enterprise. [Implications]For future research, we expect the development of studies on ‘sociality’ and ‘enterpriseality’ of social enterprise.
