This paper is based on the presupposition that the right of Yu’s resistance is originated the natural right. Under this point of view I want to discuss it. It means from a very weak opposition to a strong resistance. Yu, Gwansun as the leader of 3ㆍ1 independent movement played a important role for the restore our nation. The spirit of her resistance is founded by the religious life of Yongduri church and christian education of Ewha School. History considered, our people’s resistant activities against the foreign powers are found in the army raised in the cause of justice and 3ㆍ1 movement, and Gwansun Yu was in the center of the resistant activity. This year is the Patriot Gwansun Yu’s 90th Martyr. Gwansun Yu’s resistance and refusal to the trial by Japanese Judge, occurs now and will in future. It is based on the resistant spirit against unjust domination. Before and after Japanese colonial era, concluded treaties between our nation and Japan were unequal ones and signed ones by Japanese coercion, therefore they are invalid. The spirit of Yu’s resistance originated the spirit for the recovery of liberty and justice from the state of unlawful colony. Gwansun Yu’ movement was to restore our nation to the original, pursue the freedom and the equality between countries, and the peaceful coexistence of Northeast Asia, the world.
